We do a lot of standard type shots for the lads who race, i.e. bike cranked over, knee on the deck or a general balls out looking photo. Which is what you want when your racing.

I was playing about a bit at the BSB Donington though and took this shot to try and be a bit different. I would be interested to see other peoples attempts to be that little bit different to the 'norm' or hear what views people have on what they consider to be a good bike shot.

All the best

Same bike, different angle...

From trackdays these are probably my favourite pics:

and this one, but it's cut down from a standard trackday pic.

This is my effort, not a action photo as such, but was taken using a cheap camera with a slow shutter (sorry about the spec of dust on the lense).

I was quite impressed with it otherwise, considering the light conditions etc.. Can't wait to test my new EOS-20D when I get some decent lenses for it.

One of the most atmospheric bike shots I actually saw on here. Don't know where it was originally from so can't give credit (will do if someone knows). Anyhow, see attached...

It's Tamada in practice at one of the MotoGP rounds earlier in the year, and the original picture was on the MCN website.

I'm not much of a photographer, video's much more my thing. But what I like it trying to get the people side of things - dark visored power rangers can look a bit impersonal sometimes so I like to take photos of folk round the pits or generally doing stuff.

Here's a couple of mine that I like. The offroad one just for the lighting and the Silverstone one for the way it kinda sums up a wet trackday. And a BCF one at that, since G's fixing his bike while everyone else it ready to go out.

That MCN shot is superb, is now my background.

I'm impressed though guys, some talented people out there. I'm not one of them, I don't have a camera! Laughing
