Embarassed i feel a bit embarrassed cos ive got a gilera dna 125 and i managed to wear out the rollers or whatever they are. anyway i took it to get fixed and they fixed it but since having it back about 200 miles ago it has no acceleration, i know its only a 125 but it was quicker before the repair, this is where it gets confusing the day the rollers went. my mate said it needed oil and he seriously overfilled it with oil, i have drained the majority of it out and its still the same so any of you wise old bikers out there got any ideas whether it was the roller repair or have i damaged the engine with excess oil , help please im fed up with raced by milk floats.

If the rollers have been replaced with heavier ones your acceleration will suffer. If they are lighter acceleration will improve. lighter rollers will allow quicker gearing up but revy, i can only asume that incorrect roller weight has been replaced and so you take of from statr a lot slower but build up speed gradualy.
