is there any way i can speed up the low end acceleration on this as its beaten by an rs 50 till 20mph then my light rollers kick in. but i want faster acceleration with out killing my top end?

The best way to improve the acceleration is a 172 kit, it does literally transform the bike into the fun machine it should be, stock rollers and clutch springs + 172 kit and you'll have a heap of fun.

If you're not going for the kit, then try fitting something like a progressive clutch setup, buy a pack of Malossi clutch springs and fit 1 of each colour, and see how that helps.

im looking at a mallosi variator at the mo. i dont want the 172 kit for the simple reason i get pulled a lot cause of the crowd i ride with cause they have RS's so u can image them beeing a little crazy on them!

im looking for something to improve the acceleration for wheelies really cause im taking it to a local wheelie strip and want to be able to pop the front end up also improve the acceleration for it.


might even get a cheapo gear up kit

Variator makes naff all difference really, nothing wrong with the standard one. Its the weight of the rollers that matters. Green clutch springs are good for improving take off, can't really think of anything else worth doing if you aren't going to fit a bigger cylinder to it.
