One of the most impressive "tricks" that I have seen is the swiveling of the bike on it's sidestand...is this possible with a normal bike? or are the stands on the stunt bikes reinforced in some way? ____________________ TiN

I used to do that all the time.
Not reccomended generally though, depending on the strength of your sides stand |

guy at my local bike shop does it on all the bikes gettin them out in the morning, cos the forecourt is cramped, even does it with the bikes in for servicing, obviously takes practice, and not sure id want him doing it with my bike, it seems to show some lack of respect (to me anyway)
the stands are probly strong enough, but is it really worth the risk cos what do you do when your sidestand breaks (or you dont have one, G? ) ____________________ So in other words, he stopped you for being flagrantly in posession of a motorcycle in direct contravention of the Hippies, Darkies and People Whose Face I Don't Like The Look of (Police Powers) Act. 1976 |
