Shame to hear he is retiring. It was disappointing he didn't get to defend his title properly this year. Sad

Yeah, real shame. Nice bloke, met him once at Brands, he stopped to chat with us.
Pity he didn't retire last year on a high note, this years season was a bit of a non-starter for him.

Ditto much of the above, 'tis a real shame he's had such a shite year to bow out on but maybe his age and reluctance to heal has made his mind. Who can blame him?
