MotoGp 3 problems

Hi all. Just got MotoGP 3 for the PC. Installed it and tried to play it twice now. 5 minutes into the game, it freezes the pc. Anyone else had any problems with it? I have a great graphics card and high spec computer so it aint that. Ideas?

I looked on the site but i couldn't see any patches as yet. You know of any?

Maybe try a set of older gfx drivers. I had a similar problem with HL2 and that sorted it.

Just based on what Mr Everready said.... I had a problem with Command and Conquer Generals, in that it ONLY worked with the Microsoft approved version of the nVidia drivers. The one you get from Windows Update.

nVidia's website, or my card manufacturers version of the drivers didn't work with that game only. The error message was that I didn't have DirectX installed.

Log in with a user that has admin priviledges, then:

Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer

Have a look through the Application/Security/System tabs to see if there are any common causes for the errors. Look for RED Circle with a WHITE X.

Have you tried looking on any gaming forums to see if anyone else has had a similar problem? Could be a memory leak or something similar. The comps spec would be helpfull aswell.

Latest card drivers

Latest Windows updates

Latest DirectX (9.0c)

Shutdown AV before playing game

Try the above, if no joy post a complete system spec and we'll take it from there

Sorry i haven't replied in a while. I had to go to work. I just turned the graphics detail down a little bit. Seems ok now. Good game. I've been playing the career mode in the street racing part. Very nice. Thanks for all the ideas btw

I was right always seems to be the problem now peope complaing about FPS problems crashing etc..


Its like: Excuse me mate what you running it on.... ' the highest it goes... why'
