Anyone Ever Posted A Parcel Abroad?

Does any one know roughly how much it would cost to send a parcel between 1-2kg abroad (in Europe)

I would like to go via Royal Mail but their leaflet mainly covers UK only, or Airmail letters.

Just a rough cost will do does £6-£8 sound about right?

At work we sent loads of parcels to europe every day. We use TNT and their price for a small box weighing about 1 or 2 kg is 33 euros or about £22 on their 2 days service.
For this you get the parcel tracked on line and you get signature etc. It is much more likely to be handled well and not broken if it is fragile than sending something by royal mail.

I sent an Aprilia RS50 endy twin exhaust system to Miami Beach, Florida at the cost of £70! and that was the best deal around!

He paid for it though!
