problem pillion seat!

I have a 2004 Hyosung Comet 125, recently the pillion seat has become locked. I cant get it undone with the key. Now i think its the strap which holds the seat top to the frame which is caught in the catch.

How can i get it out? I tried removing one of the side panels only to see that the ridr and pillion seat need to be off before it will come out!

any other ideas?

Whenever mine gets caught, I just left up the bit of seat I can get to and push the catch with a screw driver?

i keep poking around but i cant seem to get to it, i cant see insed or feel the catch

tempting, a phonecall to the hyosung dealers got me through to a machanic who told me to go under the seat with a screw driver on the rights hand side and twiddle it until the seat lifts, 20 fecking minutes!!! no seat up yet, will have a play 2morrow when im de stressed after karting!!! yipee!

anyhow, great advice from a mechanic aye??
