Some do, depends on what type of mobile is used.

As I said, most will detect radar traps, you have to pay more to get ones that detect lasers, then pay even more if u want one that jams the lasers.

But to be honest, if u cant spot a speedtrap (except ones on gantrys) then you're not paying a lot of attention.

I believe some of the ones on Gatries (where there's two sets of gantries anyway) they merely time the time it takes for cars to get from one to the other. That way there's not much you can do about it, Various other 'mobile' units do do this as well, but generally it's two much hassle.

If you've seen white squares painted on the road these are a set distance apart for police to measre people speeds between two points accuratley.

There are only a couple of detectors which are "compatible" with bikes (i.e. waterproof, suitable mounting, electrical connectors etc), but even then, it still goes down to the design of the bike Confused

If the speed detecting device emits a radio/laser signal, then most of the radar detectors should be able to pick them up...however, from what I've gathered, by the time that the radar detector has picked up a laser, the laser has already read your speed and if the copper uses the first reading against you, then you're a bit f*cked already, so the device kinda rubs the shit into your face Confused

As G says, there a fair few more speed detecting methods/devices that do not emit signals, so the radar detectors are kinda useless in these instances.

As for signal jammers - they can be fun for the Gatsos and stationary units, but you'll be f*cked for "perverting the court (?) of justice" if plod happens to be following you at the time.
