I'd happily ride the first two - the Griffon gets my vote - but the third is too far removed from my idea of a bike.

I know my eye-sight isn't all that, but am I missing the footpegs in those models?

And to tell you the truth, anything that can be used for filtering in these congested times looks appealing to me.

As sad as that sounds.

Born Again Biker.

The griffon certianly interests me.

Looks like a flat twin engine in there, and 750cc, so plenty of stomp. Armchair riding position, screen. Sit comfortably, open the throttle, chuck it into bends and let the suspension do all the work for you.

FWIW concept bikes are usually just style over substance.
You're lucky if they're actually a rolling chassis.
Usually dreamt up by a combination of marketing and design bods.
Using things like actual controls would break the flow and smooth lines of the design concept.

These things are then given to proper engineers who have to make it work in the real world. Which is usually where the bitching begins when it turns out it's changed from the look of the 'concept'.

However, having said that the DN-01 (kawashima's
DN-01 link here
) does look more engineering based. I like the idea of the automatic transmission on an actual motorbike.

If I could afford to have a bike purely for commuting then the DN-01 would be my choice.

I like the styling from the pictures I have seen and know from my dad's Deauville that the engine is vibe free comfy and useable. The bike in general is very nice and I see no reason why the DN-01 should be any different, but will have an added ease of use.

The way forward I think. I quite like the way they have taken lot's of Manga influences for the design as well.
