Riding along friend on the back going between 25-30 and then bup im doing 0 (not literally)
me thinks its a snapped cable, just look for a second opinion.

Same happened with mine, I left it broken for 6 months because the mileage didn't go up! Laughing I fixed it a week before selling it, it had covered 33 miles in 6 months. Cool

It was only the cable, and cost £25 to replace including labour (I'm not a spanner monkey either)

I'll be damned if that moped ever got a fairing taken off in the near year I owned it, I detested it and abused it in every way possible! Twisted Evil

When I finally get a pretty bike to play with, it'll be off with the fairings every weekend for a scrub down. Angelic

You don't have to be a mechanic, or rocket scientist for that matter. Chances are it's just a knurled nut to unscrew at both ends then pull the middle wire out.

Clue: If it's in 2 pieces it's broke. Wink
