thanks man.
How i will ever know how you tyre experts spot these things, funny you say that as it had a service the other day, and they phoned saying they need changing badly. I honestly thought my tyres were ok, still seem sticky and have well over a few mm of tread?
So its booked in on the 29th of this month to get some new pirelli's. £220 of my xbox fund gone

No wonder your tyres are bald mate...
Not a single bend in sight
and yeah, tis easy to tell if your tyres are buggered, look at the tread, youll notice a little raised bit in the cut away, about 2 mm high and about 3 mm wide,, if its almost level your tyres need changing, if it is level, the pre tyre change burn out wont last as long ____________________ There is no point in ranting about someone stupid because there is nothing u can do about it. Country roads!!!???
Up here that road would be classed as a major road! That's better condition than some parts of the A9
Country roads in Scotland involve coming out of one corner and banking it straight over into the next one for 20-30miles at a time
You'll near see a squared off tyre in Scotland ____________________ Past: Honda NSR125R >> Kawasaki ER-5a2 >> Kawasaki ZZR-600e1 >> Suzuki GSXR-750Y >> Honda VTR 1000 Firestorm

Yea, i should not have said that its my best country lane, i find it a good place to mess about as its very quiet and its a nice bit of tarmac.
I do plenty of twisty roads but nothing like you have up in Scotland.
As for the tyres i must admit i have done a "few" burnouts and i seem to be doing more motorway miles (which i hate doing) so i can see why they are knacked.
As for the can, i am trying to save up for a Yoshimura which would be cool. ____________________ 2004 RSV Factory
