Sad i have a vibration problem at about 4-5 thousand revs in every gear ive checked fairing and exhaust rub put can see nothing wrong any ideas very welcome thanks.

Have you checked the oil levels, chain tightness, wheel bearings?

Just some ideas, not a lot of info to go on.

welcome to the wonderful world of divvys!

I have been on a rideout with a divvy owners club and learnt that it is a common issue with diversions.

Making sure the carbs are properly balanced and that all the mixture screws are set correctly helps but won't cure it completly Smile

The above are very coomon on Diversions as is the clutch being very noisy and rattley.

Yeah I loaned one from Elliot motorcycles once, I thought it was breaking up but apparently they are like that.
This one had done like 70 K!

mine has done 23k and the clutch rattles good n proper too.
New basket helped a bit but apparently just another quirk!

My old man had a FJ1200 and said it did similar things too!

I'm pretty sure they have an article on fixing the rattling clutch problem there. They also have DVDs of someone stripping down the Diversion like a Haynes manual for only £15 Thumbs Up

I've got my test tomorrow and a lovely XJ600n just waiting to be insured and taken out on the road tomorrow night.

Requires a bigger metal dowling type rod putting in the clutch, not something I fancied doing with my minimal mechanical knowledge!

Lol...I didn't say I'd done it Shocked I too have fairly limited mechanical knowledge so wouldn't attempt it without some assistance (and it would REALLY have to annoy me to fix it). It does seem to be a common problem with Divvys though so I posted the link Smile
