Quite a simple poll.

Ive just started to notice a trend that anyone who wheelies, and gets a vid/pic of it, uses it as their avatar.

So, whos got one then?

how the hell did you manage that? I've got the same engine as you, I was practising yesterday and I'm shit, I cant even get the wheel off the ground a tiny bit, I was rolling along at about 3mph, dipped the clutch, let the revs soar to about 9000rpm, then let it out and all I got was a mega fast take off.

The RD wheelies with no effort at all. Have wheelied it about 3 times, but have yet to master them. I want to practice soon, find the balance point and go from there. Get some video, pics and may have an avatar soon you never know lol.

Are you sure? I hear they're making those replacement hips lighter and more resilient using special plastics Very Happy

Of course back in your day wheelies were a lot more difficult to achieve. Having to make sure the oil was pumped by hand and manually adjusting the carbs didn't leave a lot else. Still, those old Brough Superior's could motor a bit old boy, so you didn't do too bad Thumbs Up Very Happy

Trivia note: the Brough Superior had a special holder for a swagger stick. If you don't know what one of those is, or a Brough Superior, ask your grandad or some old geeza (can't think where to find one of those though Wink)
