just a few details for other peeps considering

if you want to hire a bike, the cheapest is an RVF4 at 199 for the day, hire bikes have an OPTIONAL 300 quid crash deposit, which is the max you will pay in the event of a crash, but they claim the chances are you will get it all back at the end

leathers are for hire at 35 quid for the day, with 100 quid OPTIONAL crash deposit

and your exhaust cant be louder than 105 dB

looks like a friendly group though, well organised, and should be a good laugh, finance depending Smile

One of our friends is bringing his 250cc MZ!.. which probably doesn't go much faster than a newish 125 (assuming he was riding the 125 Razz) .. so you'll be in good company. Weather he'll go in the novice/slow group is another matter though.

Oh well, nevermind, I can't believe it, I live like pissing distance from Snetterton track, I definitely recommend it, unfortunately I have just moved to Hampshire so will be unable to attend, plus, I don't have my licence. I really think that I should take my test but I'm scared of failing, is it really as hard as people say it is. I have been riding my nsr for 2 years and I always think I should just take it but my dad, who has taken car + bike reckons bike is much harder and you know how many people fail for car test. But is he just talking from his rear-end?? please help, by the way, this is still a kick-ass site, it was good when you didn't have the forum, now it is just amazing! thanx to all

Do your test. If you fail it, do it again. Repeat until pass.

hi
read this on the 100% bikes website sounds cool
There are two ways you can obtain your video:

Quote:
1. Video star can fit a recording unit and remote camera to your bike – this way you record your view of the track, just like the TT onboard video’s etc. It takes about 15 minutes to fit the unit and position the camera.
The cost of fitting the recording unit and making your own onboard video is £40 per session.
2. The Video star bike will follow you and, film with a forward facing camera. Alternatively, you can follow the camera bike whilst being filmed with a rear-facing camera.

To cost of having the camera bike film you is £55 per session (this can cover two bikes in the slower sessions.)

There is also the option of combining both systems where you fit the recording pack to your bike and the video bike also films you. The resulting footage can then be edited together to give a really professional video.
The finished video’s can be in Video 8, VHS or DVD format and a music soundtrack (if required). They are ready to take away within 1 hour of your return to the pits. So there’s no waiting to watch the action.

The fact that it can cover 2 bikes in the slow group makes it seem even better as both peeps can chip in and it'll be great for the BCF DVD,

To sum those who are u have to do this i would if i was going.

Also wouldnt mind doing another trackday in April, May time anyone up 4 it

Luke
