Managed mine this Monday.

Rode to work.
Bit tired, sort of on autopilot so taking it easy.

Get to work & park up in the directors car-park (ahh the joys of bringing a bike to work) get off the bike & notice that the sidestand is not fully out.

Give said sidestand a good kick to get it into place.
unfortunatly kicked with my left foot towards the back of the bike Doh! sidestand go's back up.

Entire FJR1300 drops on my legs throwing me into an rather uncomfortable lying position on the ground with bike on top.

No damage to me or the bike.
pride took a bit of a dent though...

Someone beat that for bike stupidity...

Mine is either:

binning the bike right outside work, with work m8s watching, as I locked the front wheel @ 15mph in the rain Shocked

Or:

Back wheel kicking out in oil, keeping it upright! pulling over to side of road to calm down (scared me a tad) then dropping bike on my leg, twisting my ankle very badly, having forgotton bikes dont stay rubber down on their own Laughing

First time I and as yet only time I have dropped my bike would be my most embarrassing moment yet.

I loaded it up with all the stuff I would need to go touring/camping for first time and hit the road for a bit of a test spin.

Every thing was going fine till I was getting back on after filling it up at the petrol station just after the M25 turn off on the A3.

I dropped the bike off the centre stand just like I always do and whent to kick my leg over...

And cleanly slotted my foot through the handle of the bag I had over the back seat where it stuck fast

So here I am off balance one foot on the ground one wedged firmly 4 foot in the air with no way to free it and I am like this for a good 45 seconds before I completely lose balance and just had to lay the bike down.

Fortunately I was able to set it down gently so only ended up bending the gear lever but I did it in front of a queue of cars and a coach load of day trippers in a packed station forecourt.

Just in case the biker that helped me pick my bike back up is a BCFer thank you for your help about 6 weeks ago.

And to all the cagers that asked me to move my bike or just plane walked around me giggling Middle Finger

1) Going to park bike at work, turning sideways to slide it in parallel to the kerb. Rain plus overhanging trees equals horizontal bike. I was left standing upright as the bike slid from underneath me, and I slowly jog towards it. Saw one person in their car watching/laughing, so I kept my helmet on until I was out of sight.

2) Also, about a month ago, four of us had stopped for lunch, parking the bikes up next to each other. As we're leaving, there's a mother and a kid looking like they want to cross in front of us. "After you" we say, the mum says that "Daddy" has a bike, and the kid likes them.

So we wave/salute him while our bikes warm up again. Other three guys to my left leave, I go to follow. Kid waves me off, I clunk into first, engine stops. Sidestand down..... The kid looked mortified, like the bike had died and it was his fault. I smile, blush some more, and restart.

Tried to do a wheelie to make it up to him, but failed that too..... Only good thing being that the other 3 guys I was with have/had no idea I'd done it.

It was either dropping a 372lg Harley in front of a large group of Harley riders Shocked or pulling up next to an air pump at the garage due to a ridiculously flat tire, getting off the bike and whlist scratching my head trying to figure out said air pump, the bike behind me just toppled over whilst my back was turned!! Damn bike.

Oooo and hitting the horn instead of the indicators, that one always gets me!

Embarassed thats horrible.

On the highway I was coming up to a toll booth and being a smart arse I thought I would remove my wallet from my pocket on the approach.... I'm not sure what happened but when the jeep in front braked I panicked with my wallet in right hand and I couldnt get to the brake lever... smack.

I only hit the spare tyre on the back of the jeep at like 3mph, but I managed to knock his numberplate surround off... out steps 4 latino guys with wife beaters and gold chains... angry voice says to pasty white boy "whats the matter essay you aint got no brakes?!" umm err umm...

oops. Luckily he didnt care, shook his head and they just drove off. I had to stop for a while.

Either when I dropped my NSR at a mini roundabout, simply lost my balance on some loose stones, no idea how Confused

Or when i went through the dartford toll in rush hour, wasn't paying attention and went to the auto-toll queue.... had to hold up traffic, reverse the bike out and get into the queues where you have to manually pay a person Embarassed

I suppose having to have the missus push the Harley from the front so I could back out of a space up hill was pretty embarassing! I just couldn't do it with leg power alone!

It has to be my first attempt at a BIG rolling stoppee. Got the back wheel up at about 70mph ish and it all went well for a while, but i got so excited i forgot to release the front brake to bring the back wheel back down again before i stopped and ended up stationary with the rear wheel 3 foot off the deck.

The bike just toppled over sideways painfully slowly and i was helpless to stop it with no way of being able to get my feet on the floor. Once a ZX7R builds up some momentum theres no way to stop it falling, even if you manage to get your feet on the ground fairly quickly, and all that in front of about 20 mates!!

Laying on the seat with my feet on the bars in a field at Snetterton, when the centre stand digs in and I and bike fall over.

That was great, luckily no-one saw.

my bike braking down, just genrally. worse was with a load of mates near helmsley, the worse one was yesturday, doing a huge overtake holding the middle finger at a load of cars that had pulled out on me, then running out of petrol!!! bouncing up and down the road! 1st time i binned my bike, i was doing a rash overtake in a 30, diddnt realise there was a car the other way, it was either the car or the floor, so i opted for the floor, with my textiles slitting in half in the middle and rolling up giving me gravel rash on my belly and holding my balls from the bike dropping on them and my leg when i hit the deck!!!!

I actually enjoyed this moment, but had to pass it off as embarrasing:
One of the senior directors at my work rides a Harley(typical 'weekend warrior'), brings it in to work on a friday during the summer. Anyway, as i was parking my bike he was looking at an oil leak coming from his bike. Between stopping the engine, and swinging my leg over the seat cowl(SRAD GSXR), the director decided to squat down right behind me.
The result? As i swung my leg off, he was right in the path of my foot, and got my heel in the small of his back, knocking him over.
I really wanted to laugh, but had to pretend to be apologetic.
Smile

I do that, dohhhh.

Embarrassing for me, was being 33 years of age riding with L-plates.

On the CG, not getting the fuel in the right position and stalling.

Running out of fuel, as fuel in wrong position.

Wearing my High Vis vest ( I still wear it , well recently with the horrible weather, but I am still conscious I look like a twa*)

Setting off with disk lock in.

Starring madly at bikers for first few weeks, wondering why everyone was nodding to me.
