As the title says, I've my theory test tomorrow at half three, and I'm starting to get a bit nervous.

Just been practicing with the CD and towards the end getting 35/35 and passing the hazard perception quite comfortably.

This is my first attempt, and this may seem boring to those that have already done it, but any assurance/advice'd be welcome.

I have had a browse through previous posts and found those helpful but any more personal tips would be cool.

Thanks! Mr. Green

Put everything you need into a pile now, ready to go tomorrow.

Dont wake up late.

That's all I will need to do eventually. Laughing

Edit: Try not to fuck it up as well.

And the best tip I've ever seen, dont forget to breathe. Thumbs Up Mr. Green

Good luck, the theory part should be p**s if you've really practiced the cds.

The only other thing is the hazard, its not the same clicks etc as on the disks, I actualy got zero points on 1 clip for over clicking. (But still passed). (It did knock my confidence when the warning came on the screen).

As above, it's simple if you've practiced.

I bet you sit down and fly through the 35 multi choice ones in 5 mins because if you've done the cd's you'll definatly have seen them all before.

You should have no problems. The practice CD's are brilliant and just like the real thing, the fact that you have been getting 35/35 in practice shows that you will have little problems. Just remember to stay calm and breathe!

So how did you get on, did you pass ok? I have mine on Wednesday and I too am a little nervous. I have read four books inc the highway code but had little experience of the hazard perception as could not find anything but am told by people that most of it is common sense and if you drive which I do then should be ok, god I hope they are right!

How did you get on ???
I did mine last month, got 35/35 and 60 i think.
I also got a zero on one of the hazard videos for over clicking, didnt quite grasp that part to be honest, but hey , i dont really care now.
Cant decide whether to do lessons and test now of wait til spring.
Have got GSXR 400 but in bits and stripping it and totally revamping it so thinking if i cant ride it i wont get impatient??
Good luck and hope it all went well.

Hiya, thanks for all your support. It really helped me relax and I wasn't too nervous at all when I got there.

Once I was in the booth answering the questions, I started to enjoy it... except for the questions I didn't know.

I had practiced with the car discs, so the motorcycle specific ones I wasn't used to.

To get to the point, I did pass. Just. I got 31/35, and 62/75.

But it's a pass at least, so I can't argue with that.

Been to the training centre and he's gonna ring me tonight about lessons!

Thanks again for the kind words. Thumbs Up Karma

More importantly you remembered to breathe. Well done, I always find that bit hard to remember. Laughing

P.S. well done for the theory thing too. Sounds fun.

Tada! I passed my theory and hazard perception today, got 35/35 on the theory, well I did read four books! Didnt get any practice on the hazard but still passed ok. Just glad that bits all over now, now its just practice practice practice with the riding, now that test I am not looking forward to. Dont think be doing that this side of Christmas thats for sure, I want to be 100% happy on the roads before I even apply for that one Sad

Well done ISLAND GIRL for passing with such a great result! Thumbs Up

Got my first lesson tomorrow, and apparently, it's gonna rain. I've never been out in the rain before!

I think I'll apply for my car theory soon cos I know I can do that lol. I shall be familiar with the questions. I think the practice CD is quite easy, so hopefully I will find the real one easy too.

Thanks MementoMori. I have only ridden three times now myself and had to ride back yesterday when I collected my bike in awful wind, it was blowing us all over the place on the way out on my hubbys bike and that is fairly large!
Done my car test back in 88 and past that first time, now jump in and drive virtually anything without a worry, just hope will be the same on a bike say in six months. Was easier back then, had none of this theory stuff to do, just a drive, three questions and sorted.
Re learning I have read in todays MCN that the government are on about upping the age at which you can do your direct access to 27! Still dont affect me I am a bit older than that.....unfortunately.
