The bike is a 1998 model, faired Suzuki Bandit 1200.

It has all the original parts to it with a few tarty bits, been well looked after. Has about 8000 miles on it and there was only one owner from new.

The bike is £2200.

Worth it?

EDIT: Parkers says so I think Thumbs Up Please don't move to E&M I am not the seller! Karma

Hi

Probably is, but difficult to tell with the condition.

Check the bottom of the frame (the area around the centre stand) and where the rear footrest hangers mount. Also the bracing pieces between the front down tubes on the front of the frame. The frame paint goes in these areas. Also check the exhaust under the engine where the 4>1 section joins the link pipe. While most of the exhaust is stainless this bit isn't and rots away. Check the fuel gauge works. Check the plastics under the seat (couple of tabs at the front that break). Check the rear caliper (well, unless proven otherwise assume the pin locating the pads has seized in place). Check the wiring where it goes around the head stock on the right as the covering breaks up.

1200 Bandit prices seem to nose dive from new but level out and hold their value fairly well after a couple of years.

All the best

Keith
