to quote my other thread
| yorkshirelad3 wrote: | with me looking to buy a 400 race bike for sunday fun, my little 125 hyosung comet will be a commuter only, however, if my new job comes through i will have the money to do some minor streetfighter work to it. Always wanted to do so but i fancy really 'chavving' it up as a cage modifier once said to me.
Basically im wanting to finally get my belly pan fitted, find a rear hugger and chain gaurd i can muscle into shape, maybe a new can (probably just a stock hyosung one) and a little raptor fairing, even seen a neon kit i like which id fit above the rear wheel on the under tray,
I know some will think, what a c*nt, but its what i fancy doing.
Just something to play around with while i work away my 2 years restriction.
Anywayz, do any of you have any advice on parts to look out for. I wanna really get the bike looking a little like this.
https://www.erich-jahn.de/neufahrzeuge/hyosung/motorrad/streetfighter.htm
maybe not as drastic as that though
any ideas would be good,
i know its only a 125, a waste of money, but as i said, its just to play with while im waiting on my 2 year restriction to pass.
edit, i found a french site with losts of ideas, but being franch i dont understand a bloody thing, all i want is to make my bike look like the ones they have on offer!!

does any one have any experience of street fighters and have any advice or opinions for me, i wanna change mine from a standard into a fighter.

Might try looking here for headlights? Some universal ones there. It's Demon Tweeks, so you can probably get it alot cheaper elsewhere. ____________________ TheShaggyDA: I've got 3 or 4 pairs that predate my wife, so at least 11.5 years old. |

A lot of turn in speed is due to how hard you countersteer.
One reason why I suggested it doesn't have to be a major factor in bike purchasing .
Wide bars means that the same countersteering force has more torque on the steering, thus the bike turns quicker.
You can get top yokes ready converted to straight bars. |

Those bars spoil it, i think it ruins the whole bike, flat bars or off road ones would look better, ALOt better imho.
