Confused

De-restrict it. There should be a restrictor in the exhaust as it exits the cylinder and one in the airbox or inlet pipe.

You could fit an aftermarket exhaust, I think high performance spark plugs help. The carb can be lightly tuned to provide sharper response.

Bigger sprokets will increase you're top speed.

For serious gains big bore kit.
Thumbs Up

I have heard that some tuning companies who tune scooters up everyday, have said that the restrictions are as follows:

Variator (washer)
Exaust (Washer)
CDI Unit (Restriced to 7,250 RPM)

If you derestrict all 3, you're looking at 55MPH. The CDI de-restriction on it's own will allow 45MPH, so the guys who do the tuning say.

I have a Honda SFX 50cc, bought it on Friday, its the slowest scoot I have every bought. I only ever delt with Yammy's in the past, but I hate Honda's now due to the annoying restrictions.
