now im new to biking and i really want to be able to lean the bike further. as recomended by G and others in the trackday section i was going round a roundabout several times trying to get a bit further. when I got home i told the missus that it goes over fairly steadily then seems to drop ? a bit like going over a bump in the tyre.

she said that I have probably Squared the yres off riding like a pussy Embarassed which she is probably right Laughing

so my question is this ........ is it safe to just grow some bollocks and ride past that point (i.e. how much grip is the bike gonna have ?) and how stable will the bike be ? every time i get to this point i shite myself and pull it back up again Embarassed

any advise would be appreciated

If you're not confident in doing it, don't do it. Just doing something for the sake of it and not understanding what might happen might be a receipe for a drama. Build up gradually, feel what's going on beneath you and only push the bike once you're happy by the way things are going.

buy new tyres, make sure you tape/photo a burnout destroying the back tyre before you do though!!
