how much redex and when?

Ive bought some redex, how much do i use for a fiver of fuel in a bike?

and whens the best time to do it?

well it says on the back of the bottle that its to be added to a FULL tank so whatever your tank size is then adding a fiver just work it out

It's ten mil to every 10 litres. So it's 1 mil to 1 litre. Figure out out much you have. Or just chuck a teaspoon in.

When? Whenever you want.

OMFG!

I've given it a serious splash after the last 'several' fuel ups (ten qwid worth). Seriously cleans out the engine... also use it on my Jeep oddly its improved the old MPG figures (I think)

Halfords, or most decent petrol stations. I think you can get little "one shot" bottles these days they only cost about a pound.

Only ever used it once, and never again! Fucked the injectors on my car right up, won't ever buy it again.
An old housemate of mine decided it was a good idea to remove the sparkplugs of his mk1 golf gti and pour a small measure of redex into each cylinder. The resulting clouds of acrid smoke surprised him somewhat!

Sorted the coking on my ickle 125 engine right out. I used about half a bottle.

Then again, it was poured directly into the carburettor body at a high idle, no fuel injection to worry about at all. Also, the engine design is at least 30 years old, so it's more or less of the same era as Redex.

i put a whole "one shot" things into my sr50 which was holding around £3 of fuel at the time lol,,,, now that was a fun couple days lol.. GO-GO smoke screen, gadget man style

You can put LOADS in with no detrimental effect, just give it two good squirts into a full tank of peetral, you can dump half a bottle in and it wont do any harm.

I've got a bottle ages ago which says 10ml for every 10l or so, It's lasted years but I bought a 'new and improved' bottle and that wants half a bottle every 50l

Dripping it down the carb inlets is great fun, Oh does it smoke!

or do it the mechanic way,, take the air box off, get the engine hot and squirt a bit in the carbs whilst its running,, works a treat just cant see anything for a week
