More Speedfight stupidity... :(

I'm kicking myself for this...

I had to charge my Speedfight battery in the house and connect it up again, as it was getting dark and starting to rain, I hurriedly/stupidly connected it up wrong, got the predictable sparks, and now the thing won't start (in fact, the electrics don't seem to work at all... no immobiliser light, no nothing).

Is this likely to be a fuse? Anyone know how I can fix this?

Yes it is the fuse, take it out and replace it.

Happend to my speedfight.

probibly a 30A fork fuse. it may not be located in the same position as the rest of the fuses. have a look at the wiring diagram for the bike

yes it will be the fuse but dont fit any bigger than a 7.5 amp fuse to it. Personally i used a 5 amp in mine and that was enough but be warned! Wink

If you sit on the seat and look down at the battery the fuse is on the right top corner clipped onto the battery tray, be gentle, if you knock it the holder can come unclipped from the battery tray and then youve got to take the bellypan off to get it back Rolling Eyes Laughing Razz Thumbs Up

I did that with my RS250 a few days after buying it.
Blown 20 amp fuse Embarassed .

Lift up the little battery cover in the footwell, and infront of the battery is the fuse. It is the only fuse on the bike. Finally found another speedfight owner Thumbs Up
