Paddock stands

M and P have announced that they will deliver items ordered at the NEC bike show for free This means I will probably buy new rubber for the SV, but I'm going to need paddock stands front and rear to do this. The last rear stand I had (bought cheap from last years bike show) was disfigured when I tried using it on the SV, so I was wondering what make stands you use and which ones should be avoided. The Micron stand looks practically the same as the one had, albeit with a brandname on the side.

I have a Motrax paddock stand for the rear and it is really sturdy, has good rubber where it lifts the bike to.

I have a Micron one for my Gixxer and it seems to be sturdy enough.

Micron is the only way to go. Cheep ones bend and fall apart, micron are worth the money.

According the the M and P website Micron do a paddock stand suitable for a Honda Rebel 250. Do I take a risk and get one?? A really could do with one so I can do work on the back wheel or adjust my chain.
