Hi guys,

Bought some redex today... Only had about half a tank of petrol so I only put a tiny dribble in though... After about 5 minutes I was noticing a much more responsive engine, and it sounded a lot happier...

Is this an illusion or is redex really that good? It's just leaked over a whole bag of rhubarb and custard though Sad

Always add some redex, every third or fourth fill up.

Very good stuff, keeps your engine free of carbon build up.

I dont use this stuff on my bike but I do in the car!

You are meant to use half of the bottle to a tank of petrol and pour half through your carbs (if its a carbed bike!) Thumbs Up

While it shouldn't hurt using half a bottle to a full tank, you should use 10ml for every 10l of petrol. A standard bottle is 250ml, so it should last for a fair few fill ups Thumbs Up

You can use half a bottle at once if you remove your airbox and direct it straight into the carbs. You can also remove your plugs and pour some directly into the cylinder.

WTF would you need it for? It's basically ATF in a flashly bottle, kinda similar to Marvel Mystery Oil... save your money, it's snake oil.
Apparently there;s some need marketing deal in the UK as the stuff went out of fashion in the late 60's & somehow they have all the kids with 2squeeks buying it by the bucket load.. Rolling Eyes

It worked for a quick and nasty decoke of my 125, but did absolutely nothing else that I could see.

Might as well just try some of this.
