A lovely example of an early F4 750, this one has had its exhaust system polished and its wheels powder coated silver so to the untrained eye it is a dead ringer for the new 1000. Only having covered 4500 miles and having the benefit of a Datatool Veto Evo alarm is great value at only £7399

holy shit, an F4 would be nice but you couldn't ride it, it would have to stay on the mantlepiece for fear of dropping it. 7k you say? you could get an aprilia v-twin motard for that.

In the black. Or if ya wanna go the sensible route a ZX-10R from taz motorcycles. They are only costing £5499 atm!

Usually I'm anti-new bikes, but that sounds like a pretty damn good deal Smile.

Might be worth getting some advanced training as well, while you're at it Razz.

I'm thinking maybe a GSXR750 2004 or 2005 maybe.

Got a cheque coming from the insurance company later in the week but that won't cover the cost. Will probably go shopping in earnest in the new year - got to do some saving first.

If I had to chose a 'do everything' bike and didn't care about my licence, it'd be a 750 GSXR.

Doesn't quite come into the 'scary' bit though Smile.

You're right about the 'scary' bit G, but it seems like the right option. I'm still really tempted by a ZX10R but the really scary thing about that is the insurance I expect.

Nope, don't like the look of the new bike - would be looking at getting a 2004 model.

From George whites you have a stupid price on the K5 Gixxers at the moment! Says £4?99 which when I checked on an R6 was £4999. As well as uber cheap 636's for around £6k or cheaper in a lot of places. MCN's bikemart is a good help if you are looking at the new bikes and places to buy etc.

How about buying a car instead of the bike? Could get a nice new fiesta for the money you're thinking and I'm sure they're much more fun Thinking Laughing

Can't say that I've got anything to say against my ZX-6R I bought new a few months back. Does pretty much anything I want of it. Of course theres faster stuff around but I always think it gets to a point where the speed becomes unusable on the road.

When I bought it the dealer was offering 0% finance over about three years. Price I paid for the bike in June (ish) time was £6,400 I think.

Obviously I suppose you can get cheaper from an importers but I would'nt trust them after the problems I've had with the RS.
