His raceing was part of what inspired me to ride, and his column in Bike magazine will be sorely missed!

Barry Sheen is a legend.

Such a shame that someone who survived so many spectacular and horrendous accidents should be destroyed by cancer.

Sad to see him go - I wonder how much the damage to his body in the past counted towards his cancer or immune system not dealing with it as well as it may have done.

Then I thought - man, this guy has lived more in 52 years than most would in three lifetimes - at least he enjoyed it while he was here.

I don't care what anybody says, he was one of the best riders in the world. Way out of Carl Fogarty or Ben Bostrom's League. An all time biking great that will be missed by a lot more people than just those on this board. RIP.
