Right, I can remember sometime ago that you could get a one piece textile suit.

This was a half decent armoured suit rather than just a rain suit. The important feature of this was that it zipped up the legs up to the crotch, meaning that it was much quicker to get on and off as there didn't need to be any hassle faffing with taking boots on and off etc.

I can remember seeing it in motorcycle city (showing my age there), think it might have been Frank Thomas, though they don't seem to do it now if it was.

I was looking for one a few weeks ago, but it seems that I'll now be having to commute to maidenhead next week as well as quite a bit over the next few months, so wouldn't mind seeing if I can find one soonish.

A cookie for anyone that can find me one! (Or information leading to the purchase of a similar thing, at least).

I've got the suit you're thinking of, pretty sure it is FT. I'll have a look and see what it is when I get home.

I have a Frank Thomas and a Bellstaff one. They still sell them at infinity I think, not that youd want to buy one from there. Ebay not chuck anything up?

i'd really like one, shame they aren't made here, they can be ordered to size and colour (theres less wanky colours available) and get a lot of extra add on bits, but its a long way to send for them...

Cheers for the replies, the Aerostitch looks good, but at £400 + p&p from America a bit much for me at the mo.

If anyone's got the model names of the ones they have, I'd be interested to know to make it easier to search for them.

Cheer Thumbs Up.

Right, I've had a look. It is made by frank thomas, but I don't know what its called. Made of a material they call aquapore, and cost about 100 quid from MPS I think, a couple of years ago. Very good for wearing over trousers and a shirt in pissing rain.

Is this the new "how to look like youve just jumped off an airplane with your bike underneath you" style? Laughing

For my winter commutes i've bought a 2 peice textile which seems a bit more practicle, the zip out linings realy good, only need a tee shirt on for normal runaround stuff.
If you look in MCN j7s are doing jackets for about £100 with free bottoms thrown in.
However you do have to put your trousers on before ya boots, but you can use the jacket on its own aswell.
They are warm and very cofertable to wear, the all come with CE armour as standard.
I might ruin any street cred i have and fit some handle bar muffs for the winter, not sure yet.

I've already got a two piece textile suit as well as various leathers and there's a few other textile jackets in the cupboard.

It's the easy on easy off that I'm wanting as I wouldn't mind using it for shorter journeys as well - 5 miles or so down the motorway.
