I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread which could list contact details for motorcycle mechanics we would like to recommend. I found a mechanic through asking on the north forum (thanks Dancelikeamonkey), but thought if we all put down someone we trust with our bikes it would make finding a good mechanic a little bit easier. So here's my contribution:

CRAMLINGTON MOTORCYCLES

Unit 10
Hubbway business Centre
Bassington Lane
Cramlington
Northumberland
NE23 8AD

Call Barrie on 01670 717 730

Maybe we could make it a sticky thread?

Howdy!

Yeah I think that it's a good idea, but it would probably be better to have it in the Regional Forums, that way it saves having to wade through loads of recommendations that are nowhere near you. Also it means it is less likely that unscrupulous sorts are going to recommend their own garage since they would have to go through the rigmarole of registering with the Regional Forums.

True, but if I'm down south and need to find a mechanic that is any good I would not be able to check the southern forums because I'm not from the south. This way it's accessable to everybody.
