Mini motos HELP

anyone own a mini moto im thinking of buying one off ebay is this a sensible idea or will it be in shitty condition are they fast? thanks guys im only 15 by the way in case u think im an adult gettin one of these titchy things

First off, using correct punctuation and grammar means that it is easier for us to understand what you are saying.

The cheap ones off ebay aren't very good, they will fall apart very quickly probably.

What is your intended use for one? Are you going to take it to a real track or just use it in car parks? If the latter, it's really not that much fun, so one that will break after a few hours use probably makes sense.

Riding them at a proper track is a lot more fun, but you want to get a half decent one.
Apparantly the '911 rep' ones are actually ok if you do a few mods to them. These are based on 'good' minimotos.

Incidentally, the year I first got into it, the champion in the 4.2hp class was 6'4"!

I have one of those £180 ebay jobbies in my garage. Hasn't ever started so yes they are a piece of poo.

i brought one from ebay,

but it was a midi slightly bigger, was great fun and i would say go for it imo!

tho sadly then the police turned up and took them awayi had a r1 rep it was a x7 (2005) did about 40mph 49cc engine

so if you are going to use fr track racing go ahead, if for messing around i would be careful of the old bill mate, and believe me dont try wheelies wen u come off it hurts

is it easy to pull wheelies on these bikes very small dont look very comfortable

Don't buy a cheap one, not worth the money, I have a polini gp2 it's great craic, althouh my mates son is currently on it racing in scotland (and doing very well).

Next plan is for me to start racing next year on a new gp3 and my daughter is gonna give it a go on the old bike,
they are great fun.

basically to wheelie mine, i had to stand basically on the pegs and pull whilst going fast already, but keeping it up proved hard!!

tho as i said mine was a midi, more of a scooter, the small mini ones are much easier as they have a faster pull off, just dont go to much

Note that the traditional definition of a 'midi' is only slightly bigger than a minimoto (2" or so), but this has been adopted by the people selling much bigger bikes.

A minimoto is very easy to wheely and very hard to get right - you'll end up on your arse and it hurts.
Both easy and hard due to the short wheel base in both cases.
