anyone bought a new triumph daytona 675?

if so, how much deposit did you pay and where?

my loacal dealer is asking for £500 in a returnable deposit, and im sure ive read elswhere that people have paid a lot less in deposits.......


the money isnt an issue, or at least it wouldnt be if i didnt have to shell out that much up front and have to wait till june to get it

£500 doesn't seem much for a deposit on that kind of bike if you ask me....

Does it really matter. If you want one you will have to pay eventually and it will be £500 quid less to find later.
A mate of mine paid £500 down on the new sprint ST.
Think it's about normal.
Triumph opperate a first come first served policy. I believe every dealer phones through every order and you go in a list at the factory so nobody can jump the queue by being mates with the dealer.

guess you guys are right, i found a post where someone had paid £200.....but that was ages ago, long before the interest really kicked off.......

The deposit is entirely down to the dealer, we are asking for £200 non-refundable (Jay was special ), others can ask more if they want.

The amount of deposit makes no difference to delivery though, SP1 is correct with what he says (except that we fax the orders).
