Best tyres for ZX6R

Please excuse what is possibly a "re-post" but I have read previous posts and oh so confusing Confused

I need a new set of tyres and was wondering which make, approx price, and the best mail order/online seller. I basically intend to ride in fair weather (boo hiss I hear you cry Embarassed

) road use not track. Any help, as always, greatly appreciated Thumbs Up

Had found pirelli dragon evo's on my hornet, I found them VERY good. Quite pricey at about £160 for a pair. It's all down to opinion though.

Can always get cheaper race scrubbed tyres off ebay mate. Save a good few pennies that way. Thumbs Up

I'd say the 207's 208's GP's, if you can get hold of some!

Yes, they are 180 on the rear, I have seen some Dunlops for 99 pounds but I am expecting to pay about 120 for the pair! I've also seen some Avons for the same price @ www.thefastone.co.uk Confused

I used Metzler Rennsports as recommended by G. These tyres were insane. When i first got them i thought they were flat as they stick to the road like super super super glue. Laughing

They weren't too bad in the rain either if you ever get caught out in it. Howerver if it is raining then don't accelerate too hard, the back will almost certainly spin up. Cool
