oxford optimax charger?

Just bought one, and ive connected it to my battery, but only the green power light will go on, it says that at least the red-battery buggered, light should show, but there are no indication lights at all?? anybody?

Sorry what?

if just the green light comes on its showing its powered, if the batterys fine it wont try and charge it (I don't think - cant remember and not at home so can't check mine).

lol the red battery ireperable light,

no, the battery is dead as a dodo, it must be so dead that it wont even register with the charger as being a battery!

theres no current across the croc-clips, so it not even trying to charge the battery!

where could i pick up a 2nd hand battery? scrapyard? is it crucial that i get the right battery, or will any 12v, similar sized one do?

Give it a few days - I had a dead flat battery rescued by my Oximser, but it took ages.

he he i am a sly devil, i put the croc-clips on the dead battery, and then got a good battery, and put a current accross the clips, which started the charger charging the dead battery!

battery saved from death Smile full working order

I had one of those, but i left the connecting wire in my old bike when i sold it!
