That and 2 stroke oil, every now and then. Always fully synthetic, it ranges from £8-£30 for a litre, the cheaper stuff is fine.
Did you ask why this thing has no ignition or key? It would be best to do a HPI check, it could be stolen.
Can you even get ignition/key sets? |

Take the bike to a garage and ask for a service, repeat every 3,000 miles. you could also ask for them to fit your alarm. ____________________ Past:NRG50,AF1125(x2),NSR125RR,ZZR250,CX500,VFR400,KR1S,ZZR600(x2),CB400N,YZF1000(x2),KH125,Z200,FX400R,CBR954RR(x2)GPZ500S,GT550,VFR750F(x2),RD350N,XR650R,CBR600F,CB250,KDX250,YZF750R,CRM250,400EXC,KLR650,TTR600RE,DR350S,R100GSPD,RGV250,VMAX1200,DL650,KZ750 Present:G650XC,C12,CRF450X,1190ADV |

No mate, your remote start won't ever work on a bike that only has kickstart. Remote start can turn apply electricity to the starter button, it can not manually pull the kickstart down and start it for you that way.
Take off some panels if you have any to find the battery (if indeed it has one, beats me, try and find a workshop manual or google it)
What year of CG?????
You have to be specific. |

The CG is a good little bike to cut your teeth on, especially for a learning home mechanic. First things first though, you need a decent workshop manual. Haynes or Clymer should do the thing you're after.
It will have a battery, it should be under the left hand side panel. The wires coming up into the headlamp are a veritable bird's nest, worse on an old CG. There should be some wires in there for the ignition. You can buy new ignition keyhole/ switch thingywotsits, try https://www.wemoto.com or https://www.davidsilverspares.co.uk. There are plenty of other online suppliers of spares, including Ebay, but try not to get carried away with anything other than getting the machine roadworthy and safe to ride to start with.
You will need semi-decent tools too, and if fiddling with wiring, read Stinkwheels thread on electrical connectors first: https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=39666&highlight=connector.
Good luck. ____________________ I must not be a troll...
