The World's Fastest Indian

Anyone know when this film will be released in the UK?

From the trailer it looks like a very good story.
For us that are getting on a bit (are you listening Old Geeza?) it's also looks worth it for the following lines:
"You're too old"
"Bollocks"

Very Happy

Film features Anthony Hopkins. As he's said he doesn't really do films anymore can only think this must be worth it to bring him out of his semi-retirement. Apparently the speed record set still stands.

P.S. posted here as meets the criteria of being bike related.

Got some more info on this film.

According to the BBFC site the film has been rated 12A and is expected to open on 1 Dec 2005.

However, cinemas-online.co.uk has the UK release date as 24 Feb 2006.

The official film site has it opening in the US on 02/03/06 - so I guess that's 3rd Feb 2006 to the British.

Looks like a good film, will be going along to see it in December or February or whenever.

...now just waiting for someone like the OldGeeza to say "...back in my day, been there, done that...." Very Happy

Thumbs Up

Watched it last week in New Zealand. Couldn't be a better place to watch it really. The parts when it's going on about bikes are good like at the start and the last half of the film but the middle bit with the journey to Bonneville salt flats is a bit boring.

Overall, it's worth a watch.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.
