I went from a 125 to a 500 , took me a couple of weeks to get used to it, much heavier, harder to get in and out the garage.
However bike much better handling, but I found it harder to U Turn etc.
The exceleration after the 125 felt frightening.
And you go from sort of keeping up with traffic, ie my top was about 60 on a bike, to moving very quickly.
I would find it hard to go back to a 125, but I miss its fuel consumption and cheap tax.
What I don't miss about the 125, is the Drum Brakes, Top Speed, The fact the choke was in a stupid position (ie not on the bars), the fact that you had to turn the fuel off, what a farce that was.
But I like the 125 and it was a proper bike and not a ped. ____________________ I've a twin and a 4. |
