Hi
Sorry, but there have been only the odd RS owner on here, and no real slagging off (especially compared to the slagging off that the RS gets on here). Some twat is slagging you off in the scooter thread, but I doubt they even have a bike. The nearest they probably get to a bike is a hairdrier made by Braun.
All the best
Keith (RS owner, amoung other bikes)

I'm very happy with my nsr which i would think everyone is who cars about like 5mph extra looks are more important IMO and they are only 125's i'm looking forward to getting onto the bigger ones! so whats the point in slagging! if you want to slag someone off slag the shitty nova's

Me agrees with keith and dan.
The people behaving like twats probably never heard of a RS before they read us slagging them off.. then posted here just to provoke a reaction.
Even if they're RS owners they're just proving how crap they really are.
The Novas and Volvos should be our real enemies.

I suppose the best thing is not to reply to any of those annoying posts.
Hopefully then, the annoying 'RS v NSR debate' will stop. After all, it will never be resolved...
...its personal opinion!

What a lot of people seem to not realise is that this
is an NSR site,so therefore we have the right to slag
off OTHER bikes, because we all had to choose which one
we wanted and chose the NSR.
I personally wouldn't go to an RS site and expect them NOT to slag off other bikes
'cause its THEIR site.
I don't want to talk to RS owners or anyother bike owners as i don't have another bike but an NSR.
In other words RS & Moped owners,if your not here to talk about NSR's
Get your own site and stop coming onto ours badmouthing us.
Keith seems to be the only grown-up of RS owners out there.

Why does it matter what bike you ride as long as you have fun?

Kornel rides a RVF400, does that mean he shouldn't post on here? A while ago Kornel merged the 400 boards with the NSR, so it's not *just* for NSRs.
It's fair enough that NSR owners should take the piss out of RS's (and the other way round to some degree), but I personally severly doubt the people trolling have even got bikes/scooters.
<sarcasm>
ooo sorry I'm not riding my NSR at the mo so you're not going to talk to me
</sarcasm>
G
{Apologies if you're offened by this, but if you take a step back and look at your post it's almost as bad as *some* of the RS owners. Maybe we should be judging people on what they're like rather than what bike they ride?}

your right it does come over a bit snotty, sorry
what i meant was i would rather talk about the bike i have and know a little about, after all it is NSR125.com, than Rs's and mopeds.
i know the 400cc sites are linked and thats fine,
i don't mind reading any posts from them as we all want a big bike eventually, but you must admit its getting a bit anoying when every other post is from some muppet badmouthing us nsr riders.
and i am not judging anyone by their bike,as i commented about Keith an RS owner.
And no i am not going to talk to you unless you are actually sat on an NSR while using your keyboard.(he,he,he)
sorry if i offend anyone but the fact is i believe that this is an NSR site, as it started out and i don't go onto an rs or moped, site slagging off their machine,so i get a bit miffed when they come onto ours.

PostPosted: 06:10 - 13 Dec 2001    Post subject: Different Bikes Reply with quote

Hi
At the end of the day, enjoy the bike you have. All have there good points (even an MZ), and styling is very personal (personally I think the 916 is pig ugly, and the Mito lookalike of it looks far better, but plenty of people disagree with me there).
The difference in performance between different full power 125s is small, and variable. OK, an RS might be quicker on top speed than an NSR, but then the NSR might well be quicker on acceleration than the RS. Play around with the gearing and this may well change. Stick a nutter on either and you may well get into the situation where you are happy to let them go.
Bikes are bikes, and fun (but a chilly way to commute at the moment!). If I see a bike stopped possibly needing a hand then I will stop to see if I can help, even if it is a Vespa. We have enough people trying to drive us off bikes, whether they be myopic Volvo drivers or Friends of the Earth, to let "slagging off" get any more serious than a bit of friendly banter
Oh, and since I bored my RS out to 2,000,000cc using a piston from a Tornado (machined from solid unobtanium) I keep getting R1's stuck in the radiator causing it to overheat......any advice Wink
All the best
Keith

Stop fucking argueing, you big girls.
I bought my NSR coz I like the looks but the RS does have more of a big bike feel,it just depends what you like.

PostPosted: 18:13 - 13 Dec 2001    Post subject: Keiths Radiator Reply with quote

you can get a radiator grill protector from most suppliers,i am thinking of borring out my nsr aswell,
where can i get unobtanium from or would it be better to just buy a tornado 2nd hand.
also would a harrier engine fit my frame as it would make overtaking a lot easier.
oh hang on if you can't overtake a vehicle on the left,
what about over the top (wouldn't want to get in trouble with the boys in blue).
then i will have to get a radiator grill myself,
don't want to have to keep pulling out passenger jets every time i want a spin on my bike.

D'ya think I'd get away with having a 2,000,000cc rebore and still be able to ride on me L's? Mind you If I do get any flashing lights behind me they're hardly going to catch me!
And I hear NSR's are a bit unsteady in corners at 100mph+, what are they like approaching the sound barrier then?

PostPosted: 01:27 - 14 Dec 2001    Post subject: Just get along will you Reply with quote

Will every body realise that the bikes we are talking about are only 125's and not some superbikes. We all know that mitos , nsr's , rs125's, Rg125's , Tzr125's and the like are the best sports 125s (the best 125s)but some are better than others. Some are still restricted some are modified further. And at the end of the day some nsr owners will tear around at 100 mph while some will tootle around at 70 mph and be happy...and the same goes for other bike riders. Not every hayabusa rider rides at 200 mph all the time just because they can. I just think that all of us with 125s should just get along and have fun.
PS: My dogs blacker than yours
PPS: My dads gonna beat your dad up etc
