They have made a mess of my Ignition....

I can see were wires have been ripped of the back of the ignition but the only wire hanging with no were to go has a connector block...
have put 2 pics up..

They Made a real feeble attempt to hot-wire it.. and obviously didnt know what to do.... but no neither do I to fix it!!
is something missing? cant see what connects the back of the barrel to the block..
thing is now I cant start it to get it home!!
plze help... what needs connecting so I can start?

Looks like you will need to buy a new ignition barrel with the wiring.
As it looks like they have broken the back of it off.

Years ago I had a bike stolen from me twice and they just cut the cable to the ignition and it started, but without any lights working. I don't think that works any longer because they have a little more sense when they design bikes nowadays.

If you can't get the bike taken home in a van or a trailer, you might be able to get someone on another bike to tow you.
Try advertising on this forum for another biker in your area with a trailer or van, you might be lucky. Thumbs Up

phone to TIM at david silver spares (01728 833 020) and ask for :
- locks assembly .......... 35010 KBS 741
- contact key assembly. 35100 KBS 741
- key switch assembly .. 35101 KBS 741
and do not forget the screw to lock the key 91059 KY2 711
if your keys are in good shape , the key switch assembly should be enough
