a mate told me that the nsr would get a little bit more power if you made a couple of extra holes in the airbox...any comments?

It will also make the engine run too lean, to much air getting into cylider. More likely to seize. Drilling holes in does the same as a K&N air filter, and korn had the problem of his seizing, so it would need to be rejetted to have the proper effect. Probably wouldnt do much without a sports exhaust either.

Hi
The screw on the carb is next to useless for major changes changes in mixture. It only affects the mixture at low throttle openings (less that 1/4). You might well have to adjust it AS WELL as the main jet and needle jet though
