I have just disconected that wire under the seat, the flat spot along with the power band has gone, the acceleration is much better and the whole bike runs smoother. Ihave totally de-resticted my import apart from the CDi and i am lucky to get 80 out of it. Could thgis be my mixture, any help will be greatly appriciated. Thanx

The mixture will not improve the performance, Unfortunatly I had the same problem with my bike, top speed 130 kph (80mph). However Im sure the answer is out there somewhere.

so are you gonna leave the wire disconnected then, will it do any damage in the long term, as u can tell i am no mechanic. I am thinking about getting a bore kit but because my bike is still restricted in some way will it be a waste of time or will i still get some extra power???
Thanx

Hi
Leaving the wire disconnected will not damage the bike, I left it disconnected until I sold it.
As for the big bore kit I dont Know the answer. If you go through all the previous posts there are lots of suggestions on how to fully derisrict an Import. Ive tried some of them that didnt work but There were still a few i didnt get round to doing.
In the end I decided to buy a new bike (thundercat).
Have you passed your bike test or are you restricted to 125's at the moment?
If you go for the big bore kit then you need to ensure that your insurance isnt affected.
