Yeah, I went on it. My other half is the workshop manager for an Aprilia dealer that, up til about 3 months ago, only did scooters, so we thought we might be able to help with anyone's techy queries but there is nobody there to ask anything!

ok fair play its just you said it like others think about scooters on here
end of the day you got new style mopeds,old style mopeds,big bikes,trikes,cars,trucks,etc,etc
no matter how much people hate others other then there lot it will never change
ones i hate the most are the stupid idiots in x5's,etc on fone & sticking RIGHT out so you cant get past(bike) normally nannys or just DUMB women who live off there mans money & dont do shit other then take kiddies to school 5 mins round the corner 
scooters dont bother me even if there riding like noobs cause its that same argument which always ends up "theres good & bad riders/drivers in ALL types of transport" but reason alot ARE scooters is cause thats all they CAN get @ that age so being 16 odd most are gonna ride like mad cause they think they were fine on ps2,xbox,etc & aint got the fear or seen anything in life to put them off
but i still need my fix of speed but i dont go round every road @ full pelt also peds aint AS powerful so they can rag them round also they sound like there ripping faster cause a ped's just got that sound
but id still stick with what i think & thats a tuned scooter (malossi 172 kit with other bits) are very nippy you have trouble keeping the front wheel on the road

I know what you mean. Took me a while and a couple of reads, but I do know what you mean!
I don't hate scooters or scooter riders either. Everybody has to start somewhere, and today's ped boi might be the next Foggy or Rossi in 10 years time. (Besides which they help to pay my bills!  )
I discovered a new pet hate amongst other road users today as well as the 4x4 school run birds & the BMW drivers (I don't care what you say, there is a conspiracy and they are out to get me!  ) People who don't indicate at busy mini-roundabouts. GGRRRRR! How irritating is that? You can't go in case they come round past you, and by the time they have turned left instead the roundabout is so pissin small that the next guy (who is indicating) is already on his way so you've got to wait again, and you've been sat there for nothing. But of course if you pull out Mr Not-Indicating won't turn left at all, he'll be wanting to go right and he has right of way.....into you.....

I personally have nothing against scoots. And I believe the majority of them are very good riders. I never treat them as inferior, because they're not. I give them space, and I wave to every single one of them when I overtake
My main gripe is against the toss-pot, arrogant, irresponsible and, basically twatish minority of them who seem determined to give the whole scooter riding community a bad reputation, without realising their own irresponsibility 
OK, gripe over. Just my opinion
