Hi all

As the title says, I'm looking for advice on how I should stick a couple of badges to my bikes paintwork. The paint work is gloss black and was done professionally so wasn't cheap. The bike is a Vmax and I want to stick two of the original Vmax logo badges to the paint work on the belly pan (one each side). I think superglue would do it but just want this confirmed Karma

cheers dudes

I do no some glues do seem to destroy paintwork, find somewhere on your bike that isn't seen very much maybe right underneath and dab a bit of the superglue your going to use on it just to make sure it does decide to mess up the paint and make it peal off, if all is well then go for it Thumbs Up , Dan

Don't use superglue it's not water resistant and would soon break down. The best thing would be rtv silicone, you can get the black gasket type from most car accessory type places, it will hold a metal badge no problem and if you ever come to remove it it will leave no mark, blob on the back then just hold the badge in position with some masking tape for a few hours so it stays in the right place while "going off"
