Just a quick hello to you all having just signed up.

I've just decided to get a bike so thought I should do a little research, just 744,648 posts to read so should be done by the weekend Rolling Eyes

A fair learning curve as I'm typically more car orientated, often involved behind the scenes at https://www.scoobyzone.co.uk.

cheers all

Jamie

I saw that topic but haven't had a look yet; I must admit that it's going to take some pretty good spin to convince me that the term "crash" and "fun" are easily combined!

Thanks for the welcome!

A good question; I'm planning to take my CBT then Direct Access so I was thinking of something like a 500 twin mainly as a commuting bike to cover a 30-45 min trip to and from work, at the moment anyway. However I'm sure I'll be influenced by what I read here.

I can't jump in an get anything too crazy at first as I'll probably kill myself or end up taking a serious length of insurance shaft as an inexperienced rider.

Suggestions welcome, although I've got a little while as a bike ain't much good without the license to go with it!

cheers

Jamie

In all the right areas. Very Happy

Good recommendation, sensible commuter bikes but not without a mean streak.
