Ok as a follow on from the "Getting the back out" thread, do you have a party piece? What is the pinacle of your biking prowess?

Not much for me I'm afraid other than trying to stay alive. I've always had newish bikes so I've never tried to be Colt Seavers. Other than things that occur in normal riding I try to keep both wheels where they should be.

Who can't ride briefly with no hands? Razz Of course the real nutters are the ones who pin the throttle down before doing it, so they don't roll to a stop. Wink

I can clean my bike in about 10 mins from top to bottom... thats how much i enjoy it Laughing

On a serious note, i can ride no-handed comfortably and stable for a good while. Pop the old choke lever down a bit and roll around with the choke running the throttle and you can go no handed for god knows how long. I always get stopped by the damn traffic lights before i loose my balance Laughing

Ill take that as a compliment Wink

Failing that, i can kick the back end out and hitch it sideways at ~70mph on a bike with no brakes Cool

I'm a dab hand at bump starts! The girls love you running along side your bike in full leathers on a hot summers day.

My party piece used to be the 'riderless overtake'.

See dawdling car up ahead, flick down pillion pegs and build up some speed. As you fly past the car, shuffle back onto the pillion seat, and hold on to the grab rail. Wave as you go by. Watch in mirrors as car swerves wildly across the road.

I also like overtaking cars over hump back bridges so your wheels go past their side window as you overtake them in the air. Takes a bit of timing to get right Mr. Green

Both of these manouvers are illegal and will more than likely make you fall off or have a crash.

Mine are lame....

Only thing I can think of is no hands with a pillion on the back... it scares them but not exactly impressive...

or if I'm meeting friends- when I arrived I used to always pull up with a little slide just by stamping on the back brake and twitching the bars a little.

nothing flash but i like to pick up the front or back end of the bike when manoevering instead of all this to and fro turning the bars malarkey

easy on the rs125 but not so easy on the yp250 or tt600 and i have to admit im a bit worried i might break the rack on the tt600 which is only rated 5kg

any bike i have has got to have a grab rail or rack for this reason

I try to do it every time I go over one particular humpback bridge locally.

And you CAN see if something is coming the other way.

There is a 'tabletop' bridge nearby that you can't see over, one of these days I will work up the courage to clear it without touching the top.

Humpback bridges are the best. A mate of mine worked out a run through the Scottish borders incorporating 12 humpback bridges in 50 miles. I somethimes turn round for another go.

Anyone know why my GPZ goes through unitrack bushes so quickly? Rolling Eyes
