2000 NSR125R CDI unit

I am after a cheap, working CDI unit for my NSR, part #CI626. David Silver are quoting £105 when I spoke to them yesterday at the bike show, and this is too much to spend right now. I have contacted a breakers on ebay and hope they will give me a reasonable quote, but if anyone knows where I could get one from please PM me.

I might have one going now, it turns out that the original CDI might be OK after all. I'll do some more checks though, but if I don't need it you can have it for what I paid, £35 + P&P.

What did you need one for? Was it to fully de-restricts your bike?

No - my bike is derestricted, but I'm not getting a spark. I tested the components and the manual said the CDI was at fault. The new one hasn't solved the problem, so I need to retest first before I can safely say the original CDI is working.

Well it turns out my bike seems to be a mystery on how to DE-Restrict the bugger

Its a Swiss import im told......

It is fully restricted.....

I have a flat spot that cant be fixed......

Ive taken out my two plates to try restrict it ( hasnt worked )......

checked my needle, re jeted it and everything else in the carb.

Next on my list is Rc Valves and Carbon Reeds.

Also relating to the topic of CDI unit i seem to have a CI626A already in and im compltly stuck on how to fix/de-restrict my bike! Think alains is stuck aswell.

Your best bet is to probly ebay it as i dont think ill be needing it.
