Love my bike for petrol typicaly commuting 5 miles, i get 50mpg, which is great seen as the bike is choking up every time.

i've only just started looking at petrol prices, as i don't commute, i don't fill up that often.

morrisons is the cheapest round here about 88p i think but i shan't be going there again.

filled up with £10 exactly on monday, hands were freezing cold but i had a £10 note. they refused to take my money until i had taken my lid off.

there was no queue, i was the only one at the pumps and had the right amount in cash.

i said ok fair enough, policy and all that but my hands are numb there's the £10 and put it on the counter and went to walk out but they still said they wouldn't do the transaction.

FFS! gloves off , glasses off, fiddle around with strap catch on lid, lid off! slammed the note on the counter

It was up to £1.09 for a while before the demonstrations a few months ago. It sucks coz where i stay you have to travel 15miles to buy a loaf of bread and the wages are second lowest in the UK

Edit. I don't think it's fair that it cost more here than it does in London or any other city. I mean in London you can take the tube, train, bus, whatever. Around here if you don't have a car or bike you can't go anywhere. There ain't no bus service, trains, nothin!
