I don't like the way on new bikes just one of the headlights lights up. Putting it on full beam lights them both up, but obviously will dazzle oncoming traffic. So do you angle the full beam down, then run on full beam all the time? Have heard of wiring the lights together. The bike's an 05 ZX6R.

What's anyone else done?

There is a good reason for it being like it is.

In the dark a motorcycle with twin headlamps can appear to someone waiting at a junction like a distant car. This leads to them pulling out thinking they have plenty of time before the 'car' arrives at the junction. Crash, bang, wallop.
