Right i have bought a new cable for my speedo as i was told my old one has probabely snapped, ive fitted the new one but the speedo still isnt working and i was wondering what i could do to fix it.

Its a 2000 aprilia rs125 and its a bugger doing dual carrigeways not knowing how fast im going and there is a police station by it.
