Silly seeming question. I'm off to the breakers on Saturday to get a mudguard for my project bike.

It needs to be the type designed to fit to the underside of a fork brace plate. Trying to find out which models have this type of mudguard so I can google some pictures to get an idea of what to look for.

I already know early RGV250s, MZ Mastiffs and GPX600s and GSXR400s have them.

So, do you have one? If so, what sort of bike is it off?

This kind of thing:

Hi

Original 1987 model Aprilia AF1 (16"). FZ750(16"). MBX125(16"). NS125. 1200 Bandit. Cagiva Freccia (16"). FZR600. All those have metal brackets bolted above them to brace the forks. FZ750 and Freccia are both 2 piece mudguards.

All the best

Keith

I think the RX might have one, but its unlikely to be the style you need. I'll go out and have a gander if you want?

Should've said. It will be going over a 120 section, 17" tyre.

Cheers for the offer. Looking at Mito pictures on google, it has long plastic bits that run down along the fork slider. Winnae fit on my bike.

Thanks anyway Thumbs Up

XJ600's had a forkbrace over the mudguard. that was a skinny 18" wheel tho so it might not be what you are looking for.
