Got test in about 1 1/2 hour

Well its friday the day of my test and its 9:30 and i have my test at 11:47 so hopefully i pass but if i dont well you win some you lose some.

Any ideas how to overcome the preshow nerves.

There is no way to over come them, but if i was you (not saying from experience) but i would sit down and prepare yourself mentally. Just think through what you have to do, everything you have been taught. Play over some situations in your head and relax.

Also wrap up warm, the cold is the last thing you will need on your mind.

good luck, just chill and take your time, dont rush things or take it too fast. and dont hold your breath while doing manuvers, youl pass out which i have been told may affect your balance.

good luck, as for the nerves it's all in the mind. The trick i used was to think that the test was just a pre-test run with another instructor who would then tell me if he thought i was up to test standard. That way i wasn't worried about passing or failing as i viewed it only as a trial run with my test a month later if it all went well.

EDIT: Outcome was i passed first time as i wasn't worried

Good luck! Passed mine yesterday, was dreading it until I actually got on the bike, just relaxed then and enjoyed the ride. Must have worked, only got 3 minors!

Just got back now from the test. The test was nearly going to be cancelled due to frost on roads but they let me out anyway just told me to take extra care and i wasnt at all nervous like i thought i would be and i passed with only 1 minor for going wide at a juntion

I wanted to do my test in Huddersfield, but they don't do bike tests there and ended up in Halifax at the top of the town.
